National Activities

• Review of national and sector policies in relation to budget support modalities in the Pacific Smaller Island States, (2013); regional report, Cook Islands, FSM, Kiribati, Marshall Islands, Nauru, Niue, Palau, Tonga, Tuvalu
• Cook Islands received support from the project to prepare and submit their application to become a National Implementing Entity to the Adaptation Fund; Activity completion report –NIE accreditation process
• Tonga received support to develop the National Climate Change Fund

• Report on eligibility and preconditions for climate change financing through budget support (2013)
• Regional meeting on climate change finance using budget support modalities. (2013, Tonga)
• Training workshop on the Adaptation Fund (2014, Samoa); support provided to SPREP and the Asia-Pacific Adaption network; Pacific guide to proposal preparation using the Adaptation Fund prepared
